Cosmetic tattoo removal

Cosmetic tattoo removal

716 Microblading & Beauty is proud to offer cosmetic tattoo lightening/removal using a safe and effective saline solution called LI-FT.

How does tattoo removal work?

Through a specially-formulated process, the lightening solution bonds with ALL permanent makeup pigments and tattoo inks. This results in a tattoo removal procedure that is NON-color dependent, unlike that of laser, which is color dependent. Saline removal results in significantly more successful tattoo removal and decreases the overall number of treatment sessions required compared to laser removal.

The Removal session is similar to the original tattoo procedure. The solution is implanted into the tissue the same way tattoo inks and permanent makeup pigments are, instead of implanting ink or pigment, the specially-formulated solution bonds to the dye and draws the ink to the skin's surface.

The only treatment area that must be avoided is tattoos on the eyelid (i.e., eyeliner).

Does it Hurt?

The treatment is very similar to being tattooed. We apply topical anesthetic to numb the skin before treatment (if required).

How long does a treatment take?

Treatment may take up to 1 hour to cover a 2" x 2" tattoo (4 square inch area).

How soon will I see results?

The best thing about this process is that you will get to see the results in just a few days. After the treatment, the area must be kept dry for 48 hours during which a scab will form over the treated area. Parts of the tattoo may be significantly lightened on just the first treatment. Many tattoos require multiple treatments; however, the results are awe-inspiring, and many tattoos can be removed entirely in just a matter of months, although results will vary.

  • Results will vary depending on, but not limited to, your skin condition, general health, properties of the pigment to be lightened, depth of pigment placement, the technique used, and strict compliance with aftercare instructions.
  • The timing for a tattoo lightening procedure is essential. Suppose you have special events, travel plans, or work in an environment with the probability of high bacterial exposure, this would not be an excellent time to have the removal done. In that case, you should choose the lighting procedure's timing, so aftercare instructions do not conflict with these activities or work schedules.
  • Skin that shows signs of previous hyper or hypopigmentation should be done with extreme caution. A pre-procedure test is highly suggested and recommended.
